For most people, the thought of a coat doesn’t typically bring a smile to their face, because with it comes colder winds and greyer skies. For me, it’s my favourite time of the year for vintage fashion. There’s nothing like wrapping up on a cold day in a coat that hugs you like a cozy blanket and stepping out all layered up with all of those fine Fall / Winter textiles.
This coat is so perfect for a layering. I would love to see this paired over a tweed blazer, vest and opera scarf. The wool lined collar is a subtle detail, that elevates the style of this otherwise basic trench, into the stratosphere.
It is in overall excellent gently worn condition with some markings. With this having a bit of a military style to it I've decided to leave it in the condition it was found for added character. See photos as they act as part of the items description.
I would call this a oversized Small (with sleeves rolled) or relaxed Large / XL feminine cut or a Large masculine cut. I'm calling most of the size open sized because of the way this can be styled. It works really well as an oversized piece. I'm typically a Small and would wear this with the sleeves rolled. The sleeve measurement below is from cuff to neck seaming so that you can decide on fit. As usual please refer to the below measurements for most accurate fit.
